Mihlstin's Walkoff Gives Bay Shore Marauders Victory Over Half Hollow Hills East

Bay Shore Marauders took Friday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 5-4 walk-off victory over Half Hollow Hills East. The game was tied at four with Bay Shore Marauders batting in the bottom of the tenth when Maya Chinquee walked Rachel Mihlstin to drive in a run.

Half Hollow Hills East took an early lead in the first inning. Angela Scurti grounded out, scoring one run.

Bay Shore Marauders knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the fifth inning. Rachel Mihlstin drove in one when she singled in the fifth inning.

Bay Shore Marauders defeated Northport 12-3 in a back-and-forth affair on Monday. The game was tied at three with Bay Shore Marauders batting in the bottom of the fifth when junior left fielder Payton Calloway singled in freshman third baseman Jazmine Cuffie for what proved to be the go-ahead run. Northport captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Northport.

Senior pitcher Taylor Barbour earned the save for Bay Shore Marauders. She threw three innings, giving up two runs, three hits, and striking out three. Matty Chupick took the loss for Northport. She tossed four innings, allowing two runs, six hits, and walking zero.

Bay Shore Marauders Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Brentwood

Bay Shore Marauders took the lead for good in the fifth inning to capture a back-and-forth game from Brentwood by a 4-3 score on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with Bay Shore Marauders Varsity batting in the bottom of the fifth when junior catcher Shayla Paoletti hit in what proved to be the game winning run in the bottom of the 6th. Brentwood took an early lead in the first inning. Taylor Barbour earned the win for Bay Shore Marauders. She went three and two-thirds innings, giving up zero runs, two hits, striking out six, and walking one.

Bay Shore Drops to Sachem North in Extras

Bay Shore Marauders stayed in it until the end, but Sachem North pulled away late in a 4-3 victory on Monday. Sachem North trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning when two defensive errors cost Bay Shore the game.

Bay Shore Marauders Varsity lost despite out-hitting Sachem North seven to six.

Bay Shore Lady Marauders Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Lindenhurst

Bay Shore Marauders Varsity took the lead late and defeated Lindenhurst 4-3 on Thursday. Bay Shore Marauders was down 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Shayla Paoletti singled off of Hailey Spinella, driving in two runs.

Taylor Barbour earned the win for Bay Shore Marauders. She threw two innings, allowing one run, zero hits, striking out one, and walking one. Hailey Spinella took the loss for Lindenhurst. She went six innings, allowing four runs, five hits, and striking out two. Lauren Collorone started the game for Bay Shore Marauders Varsity. She tossed five innings, giving up two runs, four hits, and striking out one.

Abby Walter, Catelyn Burke, Shayla Paoletti, Rachel Mihlstin, and Emily Fogarty each managed one hit to lead Bay Shore Marauders Varsity.
