IB Diploma Student Recognition Night

The Bay Shore High School International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program held its annual IB Diploma Student Recognition Night to honor the high school seniors who have completed the necessary requirements to qualify for the IB diploma.
Board of Education Vice President Mrs. Jennifer Brownyard, Superintendent Dr. Steven Maloney, Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Curriculum and Instruction Mr. Rob Pashkin, Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Curriculum and Instruction Dr. LaQuita Outlaw, Principal Steve Gordon, Assistant Principal Dr. Michelle Garrett, Assistant Principal Mr. Aaron Marsh and IB Coordinator Mr. Jonathan Nelson were on hand to congratulate students.
As each student came forward, their Extended Essay research paper title was announced. An IB graduation stole was placed on each diploma student’s shoulders to signify their completion of the IB diploma requirements. The light blue stole will be worn at the graduation ceremony to acknowledge their high academic achievement.
