A quote from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., that is needed now and always

We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power of love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies.”–Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

  1. I concur with Dr. King, there is good and pernicious intent in every humanoid. His statement of genuine forgiveness is highly commendable. His April 1963 letter he wrote while briefly incarcerated in the Birmingham, Al. city detention is a renowned one. I would find there to be a steep angle of difficulty of possessing a forgiving mindset after being falsely charged and incarcerated-even for only twenty-four hours.
