"I have been teaching in Bay Shore for 18 years and these past few have been challenging to say the least. Last year really highlighted the idea that although times may be tough, you need to look for the helpers. My teacher bestie Elizabeth Ellis was my rainbow in the clouds. We got through each day together learning we can do hard things, when we have each other. From mid day check ins, carpool drives together and smiles from across the hall, I learned that everyone needs an Elizabeth in their life to climb the mountains with. I hope everyone has a teacher bestie and I am so very thankful that I found mine."
