I had so many outstanding teachers in Bay Shore. Mrs. Koenig (4th grade), Miss Morgan (6th grade), and Mrs. Ponzi (HS social studies), to name a few, all had a strong influence on my decision to become a teacher. Their energy, passion, and dedication left a lasting impression!
How do you feel your time in Bay Shore helped you prepare for life after Bay Shore?
The numerous opportunities offered at Bay Shore truly helped prepare me for my future endeavors. The multitude of rigorous courses, the variety of after school activities, the community service projects, and the caring faculty and staff motivated me to pursue my career in education.

There were so many different clubs and activities available. I participated in volleyball, cheerleading, student council, leader's club, and yearbook.
Is there anything else you would like to share with us about your time in Bay Shore or your life after graduation?
My family has been a part of the Bay Shore community for generations. I have always loved the town, but I didn't truly appreciate the uniqueness until I was an adult. Its rich history, traditions, and diversity make it a rare gem, and I am so proud to call Bay Shore my hometown.
